Le CRJ de la Rwandair loué à JetLink (Kenya). Il est immatriculé 5Y-JLC, c'est un ex.....Air Littoral (F-GPTE). Je l'ai vu à plusieurs reprises celui là à Montpellier et je le vois qui vole pour une compagnie Rwandaise. Le monde est petit.
Il remplace le B737-500 (7Q-YKW), qui a été remplacé par un B737-200 (ZS-ODD). Le ZS-ODD a été loué de janvier 2008 à avril 2008. Il a été bloqué à Kigali, par l'aviation civile rwandaise. Le 7Q-YKW est en révision à Johannesburg, il attend toujours son moteur, ça fait 6 mois. Aux dernières nouvelles, le B737-500 serait en vente. Un B737-300 devrait arriver prochaienement dans la flotte.
The Rwandair's CRJ-100ER (5Y-JLC) , former Air Littoral. I have seen it many times in Montpellier. Now i see it flying with an airline based in Rwanda. The world is little. Its CRJ replaces the Air Malawi B737-500 (7Q-YKW) in maintenance at Johannesburg since 6 months, due to engine problems. But according last news, the B737 is on sale.
From january 20008 to april 2008, Rwandair leased a B737-200 (ZS-ODD), but the latter was grounded by the Rwanda civil aviation. A B737-300 is excepted to join the Rwandair's fleet soon.
